The North Carolina Division of Water Quality is accepting public comment on the following two items. See instructions for commenting below.1) The EMC role in setting water quality assessment methodology (Comments due by October 22, 2012) 2) The NC water quality assessment methods (Comments due by November 26, 2012)
1) EMC Role - Public Comment Instructions: Request for public comment on the questions of (1) Whether the EMC should be more Involved in setting future assessment methodologies for developing the state’s list of impaired waters pursuant to the Clean Water Act, and if so, (2) To what extent. Interested parties are invited to comment on the EMC role by October 22, 2012.
