DWR 303(d) Listing Methodology Public Comment Instructions:
*** The public comment period has been extended to September 30, 2014 ***
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources is seeking public comment on its 303(d) listing methodology. The listing methodology, in conjunction with water quality standards and water quality data, is used to determine whether waters are impaired and require a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL), or TMDL alternative. Public comments will be considered by DWR staff and the NC Environmental Management Commission (EMC). The EMC will approve the 2016 303(d) listing methodology later this year.
