Current Reclassification Proposals

Proposed Reclassifications of Two Segments of Maiden Creek and Two Segments of Allen Creek in Catawba     and Lincoln Counties (Catawba River Basin) to Class WS-V

Following are the items required by 150B-19.1(c):
(1) The text of the proposed rule.
(2) An explanation of the proposed rule and the reason for the proposed rule.
(3) The federal certification required.  NONE REQUIRED
(4) Instructions on how and where to submit oral and written comments on the proposed rule. 
    (PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT)
(5) Any fiscal note that has been prepared for the proposed rule.

Proposed Reclassifications of Portion of the Roanoke River along the Bertie County/Martin County Line (Roanoke River Basin) to Class WS-IV Critical Area (CA) and WS-IV (Protected Area or PA)

Following are the items required by 150B-19.1(c):
(1) The text of the proposed rule.
(2) An explanation of the proposed rule and the reason for the proposed rule.
(3) The federal certification required.  NONE REQUIRED
(4) Instructions on how and where to submit oral and written comments on the proposed rule.
    (PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT)
(5) Any fiscal note that has been prepared for the proposed rule OSBM approved (April 3, 2012) fiscal note.

Proposed Reclassifications of the Neuse River from Water Supply-V (WS-V) and WS-IV (Protected Area or PA) to WS-IV (PA) WS-IV Critical Area (CA), and Quarry from C to WS-IV CA

Following are the items required by 150B-19.1(c):
(1) The text of the proposed rule.
(2) An explanation of the proposed rule and the reason for the proposed rule.
(3) The federal certification required.  NONE REQUIRED
(4) Instructions on how and where to submit oral and written comments on the proposed rule.
    (PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT)
(5) Any fiscal note that has been prepared for the proposed rule.

Proposed Reclassifications of French Broad River from Class B to Class B WS-IV Critical Area (CA)

Proposed Reclassifications of the South Fork New River in Ashe and Watauga Counties (New River Basin) to include Class Water Supply-IV (WS-IV) Critical Area (CA) and WS-IV

Proposed Reclassification of Dan River from Class C to Class WS-IV and Class WS-IV CA
