DWQ Web Site HelpWelcome to the DWQ Web site.We are in the middle of a transition from our old site to our new.If you have visited us before, we have recently changed our design so things may not be where you expect them to be. We appreciate your patience and want to hear what you think as we continue to effect our changes. Some of our programs are still on the old site - Construction Grants and Loans, Environmental Sciences and Planning. To more easily locate programs in those areas, use our old site map.
We think you will like the features of our new site. If you need help for a water quality issue in your community, please contact your Regional Office by clicking on the appropriate region of the map. Need to know more about water quality basics? Visit our Water You Know! page to learn about water quality standards, stream classifications, rules and statutes governing water quality in the state and how to get involved in supporting healthy waterways. Perhaps you want to participate in a public hearing or comment on a stream reclassification or permit notice. Our improved Event Calendar is easy to use and is sortable by event date and name as well as county and river basin. You can even subscribe to be notified of additions to the schedule. Our site is arranged based on the agency structure - that is, the DWQ Sections that comprise our division. Visit our About DWQ Sections page to learn what each of the sections does. Mouse over the section headings at the top of the page - Administration, Aquifer Protection, Laboratory Services, and Surface Water Protection. As you mouse over the headings, lists will display that identify program areas. Our new site map is also a useful tool to navigating the site.
Still not finding what you want? Please fill out a feedback form and we will help you to find the information. We want to hear from you - what you like and what you don't, what works and what doesn't.
