Engineering Report & Environmental Information Document (EID)

The Engineering Report (ER) and Environmental Information Document (EID) are critical components of the process for receiving funding through the Division of Water Quality's Infrastructure Finance Section.  The ER/EID enables us to ensure that the project we are funding has a sound conceptual basis that will work once the projects is constructed.  Additionally, the ER/EID fulfills our obligations under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, the North Carolina Environmental Policy Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.

The Facilties Evaluation Unit manages the ER/EID review process.  Our web site includes resources to help your prepare your ER/EID including guidance documents, answers to Frequently Asked Questions, and helpful links for additional resources.  If you have any questions while preparing your ER/EID, please contact us.
