Name: NPDES General Permits for Animal Operations Renewal
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) has renewed the General NPDES Permits for animal operations. These permits will be effective on July 1, 2012, with an expiration date of June 30, 2017. DWQ considered comments received during the 30-day public comment period, which ran from October 10, 2011 to November 14, 2011. The NPDES General Permits that were renewed include: General Permit NCA200000 - Swine Operations; General Permit NCA300000 - Cattle and Dairy Operations; General Permit NCA400000 - Poultry Operations.
