The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following: Daily Herald Halifax County Schools has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0038636 for its Bakers Elementary School WWTP in Halifax County. This permitted facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to Kehukee Swamp in the Roanoke River Basin. Currently, BOD and ammonia nitrogen are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the watershed.
