The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following: Asheville Citizen-Times Coats American, Inc (P.O. Box 368, Marion, NC 28752) has applied for a major modification of NPDES permit NC0004243 for their Sevier Plant WWTP in McDowell County. The modified permit will have a second tier effluent page to accommodate increase in production. This permitted facility discharges 2 MGD of treated wastewater to the North Fork Catawba River in the Catawba River Basin. Currently BOD and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Catawba River Basin.
