The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper(s): Winston-Salem Journal The Town of Walnut Cove has requested renewal of permit NC0025526 for the Town of Walnut Cove WWTP in Stokes County. This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to Town Fork Creek in the Roanoke River Basin. Currently, ammonia nitrogen and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the watershed.
