The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper(s): Enquirer-Journal Charlotte Observer The City of Monroe, P.O. Box 69, Monroe, NC 28111, has requested renewal of NPDES Permit No. NC0024333 for its Wastewater Treatment Plant in Union County. This permitted facility discharges treated municipal wastewater to Richardson Creek in the Yadkin -Pee Dee River Basin. The following parameters are water quality limited; BOD5, ammonia, fecal coliform, residual chlorine, and cyanide. This discharge may affect the future allocations in this segment of Richardson Creek.
