The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper(s): Asheville Citizen-Times Bright Water, LLC has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0088404 for the Rapids at French Broad WWTP in Buncombe County. This permitted facility discharges treated wastewater to the French Broad River in the French Broad River Basin. Currently BOD, total suspended solids, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the watershed.
