The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper(s): Asheville Citizen-Times Sylva Herald & Ruralite Tuckaseigee Water and Sewer Authority [1246 West Main Street, Sylva, NC 28779] has requested renewal of permit NC0039578 for Plant #1 WWTP in Jackson County. This facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to the Tuckaseigee River in the Little Tennessee River Basin. Currently, BOD, ammonia, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of Tuckaseigee River.
