The Division has made an attempt to post notices in the following newspaper(s): Winston-Salem Journal Charlotte Observer The Town of Sparta, PO Box 99, Sparta, NC 28675, has requested a permit renewal for permit NC0026913 for the Town of Sparta WWTP. This facility discharges treated domestic wastewater to the Little River in the New River Basin. BOD, ammonia, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the New River.
