The Upper Cape Fear River Basin Association has monitored the watershed from the headwaters to the confluence of the Haw and Deep Rivers since April 2000. Curently forty stations are monitored monthly for a variety of parameters including dissolved oxygen, pH, and nutrients. The current monitoring plan can be found below in the Memorandum of Agreement.
