Approval of Continuing Education Training Courses

To obtain approval of continuing education credit for a training course, the training provider must submit an Application for Approval of AW Continuing Education Training prior to the occurance of the training.

The preferred method of submittal is via email to: beth.buffington@ncdenr.gov. However, applications can also be faxed to 919.807.6492 or mailed to: WPCSOCC, Division of Water Quality, 1618 Mail Service Center, NC 27699-1618.

To offer one or more of these courses, email the following information to Beth Buffington:

  • ID#
  • Title
  • Contact Hours
  • Date
  • Start/Stop Time
  • Location
  • Instructor (if someone other than yourself)
  • If you prefer, you can complete and email an c/document_library/get_fileApplication for Approval of AW Continuing Education Training and reference the ID#(s).
  • If you offer two or more approved courses back-to-back, please indicate how you would like them handled: as individual course offerings or as a single block of training.
