Drilling Rig Details

CME 75 - Capable of auger drilling, wire line coring, continuous split spoon sampling, some mud rotary drilling, and some shallow air drilling. This is a very versatile rig with a wide range of drilling applications. This rig can be used for wells up to 4" in diameter.

CME 75 Drill Rig

CME 55 - Capable of auger drilling, wire line coring, and continuous split spoon sampling. This rig is best suited for shallow to moderate depth drilling and well installations. This rig can be used for wells up to 4" in diameter.

Schramm T450 M-II - Capable of air rotary drilling up to 600 feet, mud rotary drilling up to 800 feet, auger drilling, continuous split spoon soil sampling, and wire line coring. Able to drill holes up to 12" in diameter in rock, but generally used for 6 1/8" drilling in rock. This is a large and powerful rig used primarily for deep drilling in solid bedrock, but can also be used in other settings. Schramm T-450 M-II

Geoprobe (2) - Capable of direct push soil sampling, installing small diameter wells, discrete soil sampling and discrete water sampling. These small rigs are capable of installing small diameter (3/4" or 1") wells in areas that standard rigs cannot access, have a much lower impact on site conditions, and are capable of rapid site evaluation for shallow ground water investigations. Geoprobe

Versa-Drill - Capable of mud rotary drilling up to 800 feet and well development. This rig is used primarily for Coastal Plain settings, but also is capable of installing shallow wells in the Piedmont and Mountains. This rig can be used for wells up to 6" in diameter.
