DWQ Parking Information 

Downtown Raleigh 

Great Place to Work, No Place to Park?! 

Here at DWQ, we have a great sense of humor...                            but we don't have a lot of free parking!  If you're an employee, you will have the opportunity to rent a space in a state lot downtown.  However, there is a waiting list for these parking decks.  Please visit this NC DENR website for more information on parking and waiting lists. 

If you do not yet have an assigned space, have decided against waiting for one, or you will be visiting staff in the downtown area, your chances for finding free parking are better if you arrive early (generally before 7 AM).  The City of Raleigh enforces metered and 2-hour limited street parking in most areas near the Archdale Building (map and directions) and Ashley House (map and directions).  You can also rent spaces in various lots throughout downtown.  Visit the Downtown Raleigh Alliance's website and this Downtown Raleigh Parking Facilities website for more city parking and transit information.  Employees visiting from other Raleigh locations may also want to check with administrative staff for any pre-paid visitor parking passes that may be available to use.

There is also a parking space donation program set up through DWQ's Corporate Calendar System.  Please see this document  on procedures to donate or reserve donated parking spaces.  Otherwise, plan to keep an eye on the clock...

Parking is free, and there are no assigned spaces.  Visitor parking spaces located in front of the building.

Parkview Building, Raleigh (map and directions)

Parking is free, and there are no assigned spaces.  Park in any available space in the lot.

Reedy Creek Campus, Raleigh (map and directions) 

Parking is free, and there are no assigned spaces.  Park in any available space in the lot.

Park in the pay lot.  Bring your ticket to the receptionist to be validated.  If you are an FRO employee, you will be given instructions on how to park in the future.

Mooresville Regional Office (map and directions)

Park in any available space in the lot.  If you are an MRO employee, you will be given further instructions on how to access the employee lot in the future.

Raleigh Regional Office (map and directions)

Park in any available space in the lot.

Washington Regional Office (map and directions)
