Yard Waste Notification
The Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section, has made a change to the annual notification renewal process. Starting in 2013 both yard waste notified facilities and T & P notified facilities will use the same Yard Waste Facility Notification form, which has been modified.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC 13B .1402(g)(3), the owner or operator of any Type 1 Yard Waste Facility which occupies less than two acres of land and, processes and stores less than 6,000 cubic yards of material quarterly shall submit a Yard Waste Facility Notification form to the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section by June 1st of each year.
If this facility is no longer active, please complete the Notice of Ceased Operation of a Yard Waste Facility form and return it to our office.
