State Property Misuse

Whenever the department discovers information or evidence of an attempted arson, arson, damage to, theft from, or theft of, or embezzlement from, or misuse of any State owned personal property, buildings or other real property, the department is required to send a notice through the Secretary's designee (currently Bill Cary, General Counsel) within 10 days of discovery.

To assist in processing these notices promptly, please complete the Incident Report Form with the signature block filled out for:

Bill Cary, General Counsel, 1601 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1601.  

You may send the form electronically to her or the law office manager, Phoenix Coleman, for submittal to the State Bureau of Investigation.
