Get Involved! Apply Now for Open Advisory Panel Seats
Deadline for applications is Feb. 10, 2017

The Council continues to accept applications for a number of open seats on its advisory panels.  The advisory panels provide grass-roots input and recommendations to the Council, generally meeting once or twice each year. Members include recreational, charter, and commercial fishermen, business operators, representatives from non-governmental organizations and others knowledgeable about fishery issues.

In addition to participating in the public hearing/scoping meetings, serving on an advisory panel offers the opportunity to get further involved in federal fisheries management and the decision-making process. A complete list of current openings is available from the Council's website.
