Maps and Aerial Photographs for the State of North Carolina
This page provides information about maps and aerial photographs for the State of North Carolina that are available through the North Carolina Geological Survey.
1985 Geologic Map of North Carolina:
The popular USGS topographic quadrangle maps (often called 'topos' or 'quads') are available for the entire state. These maps are at a scale of 1:24,000, or 1-inch on the map equals about 2,000-feet on the ground. Also, each map covers 7.5-minutes of Latitude and Longitude. There are 953 topos in the state; we carry a complete inventory of all paper maps for the state. Order Paper Maps Online here through the North Carolina Geological Survey Shop.
