NC-SC Joint Boundary Comission Meeting

North Carolina – South Carolina Joint Boundary Commission

 

WHAT:        The joint boundary commission is a cooperative effort between North Carolina and South Carolina to reestablish our original common boundary, which is the official boundary, in order to minimize jurisdictional conflicts caused by the uncertain location of this boundary, which was not marked with permanent monuments when it was originally surveyed, by:

·         Accurately locating the original boundary points

·         Marking these points with permanent monuments so that this uncertainty will not continue in the future
