NC CORS Sites

Statewide GPS base station coverage has been established for users of GPS needing to correct their data. To learn how to obtain the data files, click on the base station site you need on the map below. If you have any questions or comments, contact Gary Thompson, gary.thompson@ncdenr.gov, or Bart Alligood, bart.alligood@ncdenr.gov, by e-mail or by phone at (919)733-3836. GPS base station coordinates are now referenced as of June 3, 2008 to the NAD 83 (CORS96) datum. To learn more about the relationship between NAD 83(CORS96) and NAD 83(NSRS2007), click here.
