Geodetic Survey Advisory Committee (GSAC)

The meeting will be hosted by the North Carolina Geodetic Survey (NCGS) and will cover the following topics:
•NCGS website and database
•Impact of the Federal government shutdown on NCGS and North Carolina’s surveyors
•Status of the NCGS Gravity for the Redefinition of the American Vertical Datum (GRAV-D) proposal to the National Science Foundation (NSF)
•Items to be included in this advisory committee's annual report

Note:
Due to the meeting being held in the NCNG minitary complex, each attendee will need to send a brief email to Gary Thompson (gary.thompson@ncdps.gov) by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 22nd listing the following information about the vehicle that you arrive in: make, model, color, and license plate number. Gary will send this information to the gate guards so they will let you enter the complex. In addition, if you have never been to the Bowers Building, please request a driving directions sheet when you email your car information to Gary Thompson.
