North Carolina Well Contractors Certification Homepage
The purpose of the North Carolina Well Contractors Certification Commission is to protect the public health and safety by ensuring the integrity and competence of well contractors through examination, certification, continuing education and enforcement.
The Well Contractors Certification Unit is now part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Renewal notices have been mailed for CP2015. The renewal deadline is June 30.
Please note there is an error on this year's renewal notice: The CEU Total did not pull correctly. Only about 10% of well contractors need to earn CEU. If you are one of those required to have continuing education (your renewal notice will say "CEU required- Yes", and you would have received an additional pink notice regarding continuing education), please check the "Find a Certified Well Contractor" webpage or contact staff at 919-707-5881, to verify how many hours you currently have.
Many forms on our website use Adobe (.pdf). If you do not currently have this software click here to go to Abobe's webpage where you can download Adobe Reader for FREE.
