Overview:

The complexity involved in implementing the state’s undertakings in public-sector compensatory mitigation has resulted in misunderstandings about EEP by some parties.  In an attempt to improve the transparency of EEP’s business operations, an ongoing effort to revamp EEP's online financial reporting is in effect.

This initiative involves two phases: the expansion of financial information available on EEP’s previous website, and the development and subsequent May 2011 launching of EEP's new interactive website.

Purposes:

  • To improve the transparency and external understanding of EEP.
  • To provide a means of supplying financial information about the program to interested parties.
  • To illustrate program status in terms of fiscal standing, costs for services, suppliers and customers.
  • To provide financial information at EEP at both specific mitigation program and project levels.
