The Local Government Technical Assistance Group is a unique team of analysts with solid waste and recycling backgrounds in both the public and private sectors. Their knowledge and experience enables them to suggest ways to improve overall program performance.
The Division of Environmental Assistance and Outreach produces a range of materials highlighting the success of recycling in North Carolina, promoting best practices and supporting the development of a recycling economy across the state.

Each year, all local governments in North Carolina are required to submit a Solid Waste and Materials Management Annual Report. Copies of local government annual reports from previous years are not yet available for downloading, however, if you need assistance obtaining past report forms please contact Rob Taylor at 919-707-8139.
