RBAC Manager since 1997, Matt Ewadinger provides business development assistance to recycling companies, focusing on start-up and expansion financing. Matt is also an advisor to the board of directors of the Carpet America Recovery Effort.
Ben Rogers joined the RBAC staff in 2005. As RBAC’s liaison with the N.C. Department of Commerce, Ben focuses on recruiting new business to the state and connecting existing industries to services provided by the N.C. Division of Environmental Assistance and Outreach and the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Joining RBAC in May 2003, Sherry Yarkosky provides business development assistance to all types of recycling companies in North Carolina. Sherry coordinates the North Carolina recycling industry employment study updates and manages the N.C. Recycling Markets Directory.
Wendy Worley joined RBAC in March 2003. She provides business development assistance to all types of recycling companies in North Carolina. Wendy also manages the Recycling Business Development Grant Program and the publication of RBAC’s quarterly newsletter, “Recycling Works.”
Mike joined RBAC in 2013 and provides general business assistance to the North Carolina recycling industry. Prior to joining RBAC, Mike was employed as a Business Development Specialist with the City of Greensboro’s Field Operations Department.
Brian, with CBAS since May 2003, provides technical assistance to communities, businesses, industries and individuals in methods for recycling organic wastes into value-added products, such as composts and mulches. Brian has more than 25 years experience in waste reduction, recycling and composting.
On board since April 1999, Tom Rhodes provides technical assistance consultation to businesses, industries and institutions as well as business development for recycling businesses. Tom conducts waste, energy and water analyses to help businesses develop robust economic growth and to promote environmental stewardship. He manages North Carolina’s two waste exchanges, NC WasteTrader and NC BiomassTrader. He is the administrator for the P2Assist Listserv and NC GreenTravel Listserv. Tom also manages the state’s NC GreenTravel Initiative, a program that recognizes and promotes environmental stewardship in the tourism industry.
