2014-05-12 through 2014-06-19 Outreach Guaranteed Energy Savings - Small Performance Contracting Workshops: The NC Chapter of the Energy Services Coalition and the NC Utility Savings Initiative are hosting free ½ day workshops across the State. The workshops are being funded through a grant from the DOE. They are guaranteed energy savings performance contracting workshops setup to review what an ESPC is, how it works, the pros and cons, the process, and the new rules and regulations that have made the process easier for smaller organizations. The reason it is a ½ day is so that entities that are truly interested can get some real insight into the program. The target audience is Community Colleges, Local Governments, and K-12. 2014-04-01 Conference Zeroing in on Waste Reduction: Many manufacturers and other organizations in North Carolina are working on waste reduction efforts to help their financial and environmental bottom line. The leaders in these efforts have achieved the impressive status of sending zero waste to landfills, rising to the challenge of returning valuable resources back into the economy, reducing their regulatory liability, and increasing their resilience against outside factors.
