Green Festivals & Events

North Carolinians love to attend festivals and special events. There is no doubt about that. There is so much to celebrate in our great state that there is bound to be a festival for anything you can imagine. We attend festivals dedicated to music, farm crops, seafood, art, woolyworms and everything in between. If every festival and event in North Carolina went "GREEN", just imagine how much waste could be avoided and how much energy and water could be conserved. We created this page to show some ways to green up your public celebration. We hope you will use some of these green practices at your next festival or event to help our state grow greener!
