DCM’s budget officer, Arthur Stadiem, left the division at the end of October for a position with DOT’s Ferry Division.

Ward Zimmerman, who has served as one of DCM’s attorneys for the past few years, has taken a new position with N.C. DOJ’s Consumer Protection Division, and will no longer be working with Coastal Management.

Raleigh Office Closing
The most recent state budget required DCM to close the Raleigh DCM office and move staff to Morehead City. The Raleigh DCM office will close Dec. 31, and affected positions in the Raleigh office will relocate to the Morehead City headquarters. DCM’s two DOT representatives, three information technology/GIS staff, and the public information officer will remain in Raleigh.
