DCM debuts new sea level rise webpage

As part of the Division of Coastal Management’s sea level rise outreach and education efforts, a new section on sea level rise has been added to the DCM website. The web page was developed by Casey Dziuba, a student at the Duke Univ. Nicholas School of the Environment, as part of her Master’s project.

The site includes basic information on the causes of sea level rise, its expected effects on our coast, and what’s being done in North Carolina to prepare, plus links to additional resources.
