Coastal Resources Commission Schedules Conference Call for Thursday

RALEIGH – The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission will conduct a meeting by telephone at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9.

The purpose of the conference call is to consider special treatment of sandbag structures that were uncovered as a result of Tropical Storm Hanna and a second storm that struck the coast Sept. 25.

Members of the public who would like to listen to the conference call can do so at the following Division of Coastal Management offices:

    • Morehead City Headquarters, 400 Commerce Ave.

    • Wilmington Office, 127 Cardinal Dr. Ext.

    • Elizabeth City Office, 1367 U.S. 17 South

    • Raleigh Office, 2728 Capital Blvd.
