Are you ready for hurricane season?

Hurricane season is upon us, and DCM’s coastal hazards and storms web page includes several links to hurricane tracking and hurricane preparedness resources.

This year, weather forecasters at Colorado State University are predicting an above-average hurricane season, with 16 named storms in the Atlantic. Nine of those are expected to become hurricanes.

Visit the National Hurricane Center’s Hurricane Preparedness web site to learn about the hazards of hurricanes and what you can do to help protect yourself, your family and your property.
