American Recover and Reinvestment Act - banner showing N.C. state flag

North Carolina is set to receive more than $150 million in funding for environmental projects through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

These funds will be used to improve drinking water and wastewater infrastructure; local government planning for improving water quality; reduce diesel engine emissions; clean up contaminated sites; restore beaches and waterways; oyster restoration efforts; and improve our forest resources.
