Instructions for Quarries

The application and sample permit on this page are specifically provided for quarries that qualify for and are requesting an exemption from air dispersion modeling. The qualification criteria for the modeling exemption are described in Section 9 of the application form provided below. Facilities that are required to submit an air dispersion model should use the standard NC DAQ permit application forms [http://portal.ncdenr.org/web/aq/permits/forms].
