To promote stewardship of the Albemarle-Pamlico region's natural resources, APNEP supports a variety of educational programs and initiatives.  These include an annual teacher institute, an annual outdoor classroom symposium, the Shad in the Classroom partnership, our Citizens' Monitoring Network, recurring grants which may be used to construct outdoor education facilities, and other opportunities.
