Overview

The Policy Board for the Albemarle-Pamlico National Estuary Partnership works with the APNEP program office and its host agency to support, evaluate, update, advocate and guide the implementation of APNEP's mission.

The Policy Board was most recently restructured and reauthorized through North Carolina Governor's Executive Order #133 (2012). The Policy Board includes representation from various interests in the basin. The Policy Board also includes representatives from the Science and Technical Advisory Committee and the Implementation Committee.  The current bylaws can be accessed here.
