Mapping Assets at Risk from Sea Level Rise
APNEP is partnering with the N.C. Division of Public Health and East Carolina University to map assets at risk from sea level rise. Water and sewer infrastructure, brownfields sites, solid waste disposal facilities, and various government real property assets will be among the assets and liabilities mapped. This initiative seeks to inform the scale and prioritization of adaptation efforts in the region, and may influence the development and improvement of more sophisticated risk management tools.
