Land Use Planning Workshop
The N.C. Division of Coastal Management (DCM), the N.C. Coastal Federation, and the Business Alliance for A Sound Economy have organized a CAMA Land Use Plan workshop at the James Vernon Center in Plymouth. During this interactive day-long session, DCM will solicit information about past experiences with the Land Use Planning Program and discuss new opportunities for increased technical assistance to local governments, streamlined plan reviews, and the potential for reduced local planning burdens through improved coordination of state planning requirements.
APNEP is a sponsor of this event, which will bring together elected, appointed, and staff members from local governments as well as interested parties from the private sector.
The event has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Vernon G. James Research and Extension Center in Plymouth, NC. If you were registered for the February 11, 2014 workshop, which had to be canceled due to weather, you do not need to re-register. If you are unable to make the new date, please contact Maureen Meehan (firstname.lastname@example.org) to change your previous registration.
