Here's a Survey Managers can give to staff. I did recently (after being a manager for more than 10 year) and learned some things about the staff that I wish I knew a long time ago. Based on the results I made a "major" change in our meeting schedule. Now, when you read the survey you won't see anything about meetings, so you have to ask me what I did. ***DRAFT Recognition and Rewarding Staff DRAFT***

With increasingly tighter budgets that preclude pay increases, many managers are looking for alternative ways to reward and recognize staff for a job well done. The DENR Manager’s Forum Workgroup is seeking information about the types of rewards and recognition programs practiced within the agency for a future Manager’s Forum topic. The forum will seek to promote this type of activity & give new ideas to managers who currently want to reward their staff.
