A NEW HOME FOR EEP

As of Nov. 19, 2012, EEP’s new location is in the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources Building. The physical/shipping address is 217 West Jones St., Suite 3000A, Raleigh, N.C. 27603.

Visitors to EEP may access the building only through the West Jones Street entrance at the first-floor security desk (photo ID required). EEP offices are located on the third floor of the building. Visitors should check in with the receptionist on the third floor for directions to individual staff locations.

Short-term parking may be found in metered or non-metered spaces on adjacent streets. Long-term parking is available at most times in two nearby locations (all streets surrounding the NCDENR Building are one-way streets):

• State Government Visitors Parking Lot #3, located across North McDowell Street from the NCDENR Building, with an entrance on West Edenton Street.
  
  
• State Government Visitor Parking Lot #2, located on the right side of North Salisbury Street between Peace Street and West Lane Street, two blocks north of the NCDENR Building. The lot also can be entered from North McDowell Street just past West Lane Street.

NOTE: These garages may not be available when the N.C. General Assembly is in session. Parking fees are free for 15 minutes or less, and $2 per hour for longer stays.
