EEP offers four voluntary In-Lieu Fee (ILF) mitigation programs to the public and private sectors to satisfy compensatory-mitigation requirements in state and federal laws and regulations. The initiatives offset unavoidable environmental damage from transportation-infrastructure improvements and other economic development, and help to prevent harmful pollutants from endangering water quality in sensitive river basins.
